Curated works
These are my landscape photographs: mountains, valleys, forests, canyons, and a lot of sky. Most of them were made by going back to the same place until the weather and light did something worth waiting for. Some are wide views of the Alps or the desert; others are a single tree in fog or a hillside in the last light.
Collection Note
Light and weather do most of the work in these pictures. Mist flattens distance, a break in the cloud picks out one ridge, and something in the foreground gives you a sense of how big everything is. If you are new to the collection, the works below are a good place to start.

Dawn on the Kalmthout heath in April. The sun comes up behind a single pine while the mist is still lifting, and for a few minutes the light swallows the shape of the tree.
